Set in one of the driest microclimates west of the Cascade Mountains, Sequim Bay State Park dwells in the Olympic rain shadow, making it the perfect place for a day visit or year-round camping.
Things to do at this park Sequim Bay State Park is a year-round, 92-acre camping park with 4,909 feet of saltwater shoreline. Visitors can head to nearby Sequim and Port Angeles for picnic gear, shopping sprees, lattes and restaurant meals.
Picnic and day use facilities The park provides both sheltered and unsheltered picnic tables, along with reservable kitchen shelters.
The upper kitchen shelter is near horseshoe pits and a tunnel that connects to a baseball field and tennis courts. Two lower shelters have a view of Sequim Bay. Park staff recommend carpooling as parking is limited.
Camping The campground offers standard and full-utility sites year round. Reservations can be made to stay between May 15 and September 15. Camping is available first come, first served September 16 through May 14.
The park accommodates RVs and combinations of 40 feet or less in length.

Boating The park offers a boat launch and six moorage buoys on a first come, first served basis. Moorage permits are available for purchase online.
Trails The Olympic Discovery Trail is a 120-mile paved county-maintained trail that travels from Port Angeles through the park. For more information, please visit Olympic Discovery Trail. The campground has 3 hiker/biker sites for individuals that enter the park on foot or bicycle.
Retreat Center Ramblewood Retreat Center is surrounded by old growth cedar and hemlock trees and combines the characteristics of camping with the comforts of a cozy lodge.
